Holy Family Cathedral School will enforce state and diocesan requirements regarding fingerprinting of all school personnel and parent volunteers. All staff and volunteers who have ongoing and consistent contact with minor children at a school site must be fingerprinted and have a background check.

Live Scan is done through Entersect Security in Santa Ana. The Diocese has implemented a new procedure for fingerprinting. First you must submit a completed "Safe Environment Applicant Information" form to Mrs. McDonald in the school office. The information from this form is then entered into the Diocesan database to create and print out new Live Scan forms. You then take the Live Scan forms with you to Entersect to be fingerprinted.

To complete the online safe environment training, log onto:  www.shieldthevulnerable.org.  Complete the course, Protect Children.  Once finished, print out the Certificate of Completion and send in to the front office:  Attention Mrs McDonald.
