Kindergarten
Welcome to Kindergarten at Holy Family Catholic School!
At Holy Family, we believe every child is a precious and unique creation of God. Partnering with parents, the first and most important teachers, we nurture each child’s God-given gifts, helping them grow in faith, knowledge, and character.
Faith Formation
Our little learners are introduced to the beauty of the Catholic faith through stories, prayer, and celebrations. Children learn that God created them, loves them, and calls them to share that love with others. Kindergarteners attend an All School Mass once a month with our 8th grade buddies.
Language Arts
Through engaging stories, phonics, word recognition, and creative writing, our students become confident readers and writers. From their very first sight words to proudly writing in journals, their love of language blossoms.
Math
Math comes alive as children explore patterns, numbers, addition, subtraction, graphing, time, money, and measurement; all through hands-on activities that build confidence and joy in learning.
Science
Curious minds thrive as students explore animals, plants, our Earth, and the wonders of God’s creation. STEM activities and experiments encourage discovery, creativity, and teamwork.
Social Studies
From learning to be good citizens to exploring our country, community, and history, children gain a sense of belonging and responsibility.
Handwriting & Journals
With multisensory activities, our students learn proper letter formation and develop writing skills, while expressing themselves in personal journals.
