Purpose

The Development Office exists in order to:

  • develop a current and future base of financial support for HFCS
  • update and keep current the database of alumni and friends of HFCS
  • communicate about HFCS with the alumni, parents, parish and the business community
  • create programs that enhance the financial support for HFCS
  • provide events that acknowledge donors and invite the community to learn about HFCS

Programs

The programs for which the Development Office is responsible are:

  • Angels In Education - the annual appeal for tuition assistance
  • Partners In Education - the annual business-classroom partnerships
  • Endowment - ongoing to create a continual annual income for HFCS
  • Scholarships - given annually as part of the tuition assistance program as well as in honor of or to remember loved ones
  • Alumni Mass - celebrated the first Sunday of Catholic Schools Week in January
  • Literature Day - Partners In Education and community leaders are invited to HFCS to share their love of reading
  • Family Ties Newsletter - annual report from the Development Office
  • Catholic Schools Week - community support
  • Beautification - planters, benches and memorials
